My wife has a friend who is a dental hygienist. The first time her four-year-old daughter came to her office to get her teeth cleaned she was accompanied by her grandmother.

When they came in, our friend greeted them warmly, seated her daughter, and as usual, put on her gloves, goggles, and mask.

About ten minutes into the procedure, the daughter got scared and cried, "I want my mommy!"

Our friend quickly pulled off her mask and said, "I AM your mommy."
