HILARIOUS JOKES AND HUMOR ARCHIVES

One afternoon my wife was in the backyard hanging the laundry when an old, tired-looking dog wandered into the yard. My wife could tell from its collar and well-fed belly that it had a home.

When my wife walked into the house the dog followed her, sauntering down the hall to a corner where it plopped down and fell asleep. An hour later, the dog went to the door, and my wife let him out.

The next day the dog was back. It resumed its position in the hallway corner and slept for an hour. This continued for several weeks.

Curious, my wife pinned a note to its collar: "Every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap."

The next day the dog arrived with a different note pinned to its collar: "He lives in a home with ten children--he's trying to catch up on some sleep."

Where can you go for rest?

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. -Matthew 11:27
