George, a friend of mine, is a wonderful father to his baby daughter, but he often turns to his wife, Joyce, for advice on the more motherly baby-care issues. Recently, Joyce was busy getting ready to go shopping when George poked his head in to ask, "What should I feed Jane for lunch?"

"That's up to you," Joyce replied. "There's all kinds of food. Why don't you pretend I'm not at home?"

A few minutes later, Joyce's cell phone rang. She answered it to hear George on the other phone, "Yeah, hi, Honey. Uh...what should I feed Jane for lunch?"
