A father was recently watching his daughter play in the garden. A smile appeared on his face as he reflected on the sweet and innocent appearance little children often possess.
Suddenly, his daughter stopped playing and began to stare intensely at the ground. Curious, he walked over to her and noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.
"Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?" she asked.
"They're mating," her father replied.
"What do you call the spider on top, Daddy?" she asked.
"That's a Daddy Longlegs."
"So, the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?"
"No," her father replied. "Both of them are Daddy Longlegs."
The little girl thought for a moment, then took her foot and stomped them flat. "Well, we're not having any of that in our garden."
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. -Romans 12:9
