A man recently walked into the human resources department of a large company and handed the executive his application.

The executive scanned the sheet, and quickly noticed that the applicant had been fired from every job he ever held.

"I must say," said the executive, "your work history is terrible. You've been fired from every job."

"Yes, that's right" replied the man.

"Well," continued the executive, "there's not much to desire in that kind of a record."

"Hey!" replied the man, trying desperately to get a job. "At least I'm not a quitter."
